The fight against poverty is never more difficult than in times of crisis. The projects directly assist survivors of natural disasters and conflict through immediate relief, early recovery and longer-term community rehabilitation, including food aid distribution, temporary shelter materials distribution, provision of clean water, and emergency sanitation services, community based animal health care provision and; seeds and tools distributions. With the current conflict situation in South Sudan, GCAF will be involved in emergency programming. Whenever calm and tranquility returns, GCAF will shift its’ focus on post- conflict rehabilitation, recovery and development programming in all project locations.
