GCAF strive to reach hard-to-reach areas with very little or no basic services and significantly in regions brutally hard hit by cycles of conflict and civil wars. With time the organization intends to increase its capability with an increase in staff, partners and volunteers to as it increase in its programs and projects and spread widely to different parts of South Sudan.
The organization has established strong organizational policies and management standards. These include a state of the art human resource, financial and procurement management policies that are continuously reviewed with active participation and inputs of GCAF staffs, beneficiaries, experts and donors.
Staffs have opportunities for furthering their careers through both in-house trainings and sponsorship abroad that equip them with the necessary expertise and skills to deliver on their mandate.
GCAF’s programming is Girl Child driven and based on efforts by local communities to achieve lasting solutions to the development challenges that impact negatively on the girls’ child abilities in these societies to be self-reliant. This is envisaged to improve basic education, CP, Early marriages, prevent the spread of preventable diseases including HIV/AIDs/STD; prevent sexual violence/GBV against women and children; increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunities to vulnerable adolescent girls and protect natural resources.
GCAF management has a very transparent and mutually beneficial working relationship with community leaders, church leaders, government authorities both at the local and national levels, partners, donors and other stakeholders. GCAF intends to in close coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders and partners its’ beneficiary communities as a team to build synergy and increase communities’ resilience with the hope to becoming self-sufficient, and to increasing the pool of empowered capable community members who are able to transform their communities out of extreme hunger, poverty, illiteracy and diseases thereby improving their access to social amenities, increase opportunities to better their social welfare and economic livelihoods.
